I wish I had more superlatives at my disposal because when it comes to your artwork I really am running out of them! I love what you've done here: the colours and the varying shades of the colours and the slightly metallic look to them; the way you've blended in the hooves and riders all of which adds up to excitement, intrigue and a really effective invitation to the story. *Very* impressed and well done!

I don't know what to say, thank you! You always find something new in my work which I haven't seen before. This time it's the "slightly metallic look", and you're right, it really looks that way. :-D

And another great Big Bang art from you! :-)
You managed to combine the dramatic of horse races with the pictures of the protagonists and the text in a very professional way.
I love the colours.

Thank you, Firle, so kind! I can't hear the word "professional" related to my work often enough. *hugs* :-)

Wow. The blues and greens ones are fabulous, even though I don't know the characters.

Thank you! Picking the colors was actually the hardest part and I'm glad I apparently chose the right ones. These are Dick Francis characters, btw, and Francis let Sid suffer almost as much as you did Bodie,Ezra, Starksy and the Kid. :-)

Brilliant work on this assignment matey, you have merged the images seemlessly and the colour and font work a treat. I'm sure dawnbeth is thrilled with your creation. I haven't read the story yet but you have created a great teaser!

merged the images seemlessly and the colour and font work a treat I'm so glad you appreciate my work, and as always, you recognized the crucial points right away. I hope you'll enjoy Dawn's story! :-)

What great artwork. I love the almost tapestry texture of them. They remind me of film posters from the seventies, as does the colour palette and the seamless blending with the racing images works really well.

Thanks. :D

Thank you!
merged the images seemlessly and the colour and font work a treat I discovered this effect only recently and thought it would suit the theme. So glad you like it! :-D

Fabulous art work! I love how you worked in the horse racing with the banners. These are beautiful.

Thank you! I enjoyed doing this for Dawn the second year in a row. And I thank you for helping her embedding the cover and banners in her master post. :-)

After I spent a couple of days thrashing my own story file into submission, I figure I might as well use that knowledge to help Dawn! :)

I can appreciate what you did even more in those different banners. They all have a beautiful dynamic in those layouts.
I like that you always do something new in your art work, never boring, yet nicely stylish and sophisticated.
