Oh, well *done*! I felt rather emotional when I saw this image, it's just so good. I'd been trying to think up something without any success at all (I had an image but no quote), so your interpretation has made my day. Thanks!

Thank you! It's always harder to find quotes than pictures. It would be interesting to see what image you chose. :-)

I had very vague ideas about using this one because I think he looks very world-weary here and I thought maybe I could use something from HG's Strange Days in the scene where they've been imprisoned and tortured but there was nothing relevant to the picture or to the idea I was trying to convey.

Yes, that's a good choice! Maybe you'll find a suitable quote till Friday. :-)

You might have to slow down mate otherwise my wallpapers are gone before I have time to enjoy them *g* This is a wonderfully expressive image that says so much, no words needed, their body language says it all.

I try, I try... ;-) I was really glad that I finally could use this screencap. Thanks!

Love what you've done here... there's something poignant in the way their ties are un-knotted and awww Doyle with his hands in his pockets scuffing the ground. And the colouring is so atmospheric, really expresses the theme well. You're a bit good at this y'know :)

Thank you! I thought the effect 'yellowed' was just right for this challenge. :-)

I like it! I thought about the reason, and it is difficult to express it ... hm, first I like the colours. But I think it's the atmosphere - a weird mix of lightness and melancholy, thoughtfulness and cluelessness. So much emotion in a second layer. It's perfect with the colours.

melancholy and cluelessness I like this, and it's so good to know I chose the right effect. Thank you! :-)

Brilliant :D It's facinating what you can express with a single screenshot.
The bodylanguage combined with colour and blending are telling a whole story.
Very well done!

Thank you! The reason I almost always use just caps for my wallpapers is that there is so much to discover in stills. :-)

Cool, our lads with their monstrous ties - I like it!

Ah, the ties! I'm glad you like them. ;-)

I like this. Bodie does look worn and Doyle looks like he's trying to hide his concern. He does love to kick things, eh? *bg* Thank you.

He does love to kick things So in character. ;-) I'm glad you like it.

I can only nod in agreement of the other comments. I like the loose ties, the colors, the atmosphere of weariness and frustration. The signs of how tough the job can be. Very well done!

Thank you so much! I used a "yellowed" effect and am glad it worked. :-D
