Today's Lesson

Thoughts of Doyle keep Bodie going.

Today's Lesson by Jojo

Doyle can't help dwelling on the fact that all Bodie had consumed in the twelve hours before he disappeared were three walnut whips and a can of Double Diamond. Silly sod.

He has spent upwards of a week toeing the line, the brooding extra party in a cumbersome trio. He has done his share of interrogation and working the phones, made two trips to Broadmoor and spent a day and a night on babysitting duty at the safe house. Not once has he lost his temper or hurled his coffee mug against the wall in bare, screaming fear and frustration.

Oh. That's heartbreaking, and terrible, too, and tender, and cruel. It's not nice to read it... but it is well written.

It's all of these, you summed it up nicely. :-)

One of my favorites, although I have to be in a special mood to read it. So very well-written. JoJo is one of the writers I'd even read shopping lists of.

JoJo is one of the writers I'd even read shopping lists of. I fully agree. I even read all of her Mag7 fics which are brilliant too.

Oho, I had better check that out! Been reading a lot of Mag7 a few years back but I can't place any stories with her atm. You don't happen to have a list or a link?

Her Fic Masterlist is here:

And I recommend these:

Strange Bedfellows and the sequels Three Strikes and You're Out and Devil to Pay

A Safe Way Home

Please note Ezra has to suffer a lot, and I mean a lot!! So perhaps you should be in the proper mood to read these. :-)

Ah poor Ezra. Will check it out *carefully*, thanks!

I like Jojos writing too. It's somehow so unprosfanfic like.
Unique. Also the writing I would be a bit at a loss if my English would be less advanced.

Yes, she has a unique style. And sometimes I have to reread parts of her writing to grasp the meaning.

OMG this is so horrible but compelling.

The blow to the head is substantial. They don't know he did it to himself.

How desperate was our poor Bodie? So many emotions reading this one. Jax and Murph trying to keep Doyle away to protect him and Bodies strength and an insight into his survival skills unlike anything I have read before.

Thanks for the reccie!

There are some horrible scenes, and all so well written. I'm glad you liked it despite the cruelty Bodie had to endure. :-)
