DIAG Between The Scenes

I'd like to thank macklingirl for the idea and firlefanzine, who invited me to join in on today's doppelleben_ci5 review of this episode. They both inspired me to do this video which is a fresh view of this episode and also a perfect fit for today's All Souls' Day.

If at all, you only get glimpses of the lads. For the most part I've confined myself to use extra grainy stills right before or after Bodie, Doyle and sometimes Cowley appear on the screen, set in chronological order, so you should be able to follow the storyline.
I've chosen one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard to accompany the sequence of stills, performed in an appropriately quiet way by Skeggs.

Oooh. Wow. 30+ years of fandom, and there are still new things to create. I haven't seen anything quite like this before. It was like watching them so nearly connect and constantly fail and miss each other, and I was so so relieved to see them together at the end! Well done and thank you!

Thank you! I'm so pleased you like the idea behind this vid. If you look close, there are glimpses of them, a foot here, a shoulder there, but as you said, it's a relief to see them at the end together and well. :-)

How original, what a great and deceptively simple idea. So interesting to see these "layers" that we may not notice as we watch the ep. And like MML says, the feeling that we've missed them somehow. Nicely done, I love seeing things interpreted in new ways, especially by someone as visually gifted as you. Thanks!

Thank you! I'm really pleased you like it.
So interesting to see these "layers" that we may not notice as we watch the ep. That's it exactly. E.g. I haven't noticed before that Doyle is passing by a cemetery right at the beginning, after the coroner's hearing. :-)
