Happy Birthday, heliophile!
What an utterly gorgeous picture, I love the pose, the setting, the colours and the effect. What a lovely birthday present! And made me write a drabble to go with it :)

Outside the suspect house, they paused to stare in opposite directions. Duff, bloody information, another dead-end lead.

Silent, Bodie jutted his jaw and Doyle planted his hands on his hips in frustration.

"Watch yourself," he murmured, turning into Bodie as two people pushed past, residents from another world not theirs.

Distracted, their eyes followed. Lovers, aware of nothing but each other. Who stopped stock-still on the pavement and spoke truths unembarrassed.

I love you. I love you so much.

Bodie felt Doyle's elbow bump his own.

They broke from their own world for just one second to share a look.

OK, that almost inaudible sound just on the edge of detectable frequencies? That's me squeeing over getting a picture and a drabble for my birthday!

Thank you so much!!!! I love the idea of something like this being behind the look they're sharing. It's perfect.

I have cake in the oven, courtesy of Zoic#1, and lads-flavoured greetings on my screen - what could possibly be better than that?!

Ohhh, how pretty! I love the lads looking at each other, with only eyes for the other. They're sharing a private joke and nobody else matters. Great job.

Adding: I've been meaning to ask: how or where do you post the original so that only a small one appears on the LJ timeline and it shows the full size in another window. When I post pictures with the insert they stay small. :)

Thank you! It's one of my favourite scenes, I just love the way they smile at each other.

I upload the wallpaper to my scrapbook, then click on Add to post. In the window that opens showing the selected picture there is a checkbox at the bottom saying Add a link to full-size picture. :-)

Oh wow! This is fabulous!!!! And I feel particularly privileged to have a cloudless birthday *g* (hey, we had blue skies today too - just to match your gift *g*).

I'm so going to keep this in my stash of favourite images. Thank you so much, cloudless - I love it, and I'm thrilled to get it as a birthday treat!

Oops - late to the party! I meant to say how gorgeous, but forgot - actually, I think I was busy dribbling over it at the time, but there you go!

Oh I love that! The off- but still fresh spring colors, the dreamy layers and the lads.

Thank you, smirra. I'm glad you like the analog effect. It's called "Nassplatte" btw.
