It looks really good on the 'big' screen!
It makes me smile each time I come into my computer room. :-)

Thank you!

Yes, I like it too :).

I change my background photos on my computer every two or three days. The day before yesterday it was Doyle, since yesterday it is Jean Harlow :).

Thanks! I like the Harlow picture, too. :-)

If you are interested in vintage photos, I've found two very cool portraits, just unlike the usual Hollywood studio stills.

One of Gary Cooper, shot in 1934, he was 31 years old, for Vanity Fair (There are more in the slide show):

One of Burt Lancaster:

Oh girls... stop that!
I have to go to an Easter Afternoon Brunch - and again I'm late because of such nice guys...

Nur damit wir wieder auf der Spur sind:

Ja, wir sollten nicht abschweifen.
Gefällt mir, sogar mit Bart! :-)

Gary Cooper - ohhh...

I read a book about Marlene Dietrich some years ago, and when she saw John Wayne for the first time (maybe in the 1930s, when both were young) it is written she said to her manager "Buy me that, Daddy."

"Buy me that, Daddy."
Certainly in character! John Wayne looked good AND had charisma.

Gary Cooper - ohhh... Exactly!

That's a great shot of Burt Lancaster and unusual (and better for it) in that it's not showing what he called his 'grin'. I had a serious crush on him for about 30 years and it's lovely seeing him again.

And Gary Cooper was another original, really cool and suave. Very nice shot which I've never seen before (or the one of Lancaster).

I was lucky to find them. I don't think there are many of those off the set photos online.
I had a serious crush on him for about 30 years and it's lovely seeing him again Can fully understand this, I liked him too! :-)

Nice picsearch!
Jean Harlow? I don't think that I've seen one movie with her.

Am I right to assume you are an Audrey Hepburn fan? If yes, look at this website of photographer Leo Fuchs. There are some very nice pictures of her I haven't seen before:

Some people just 'glow', don't they? Such a charisma...
And the pics with Brando and Newman aren't bad either!

Yeah, and I also like the Joanne Woodward photos. :-)

Absolutely! She was quite 'unusual' for a Hollywood star and that time.
I really must make some icons with such beautiful material...

Ohh that is a gorgeous piccie, I hope you don't mind me using it as my wallpaper. It shows both lads off very nicely, thanks!

Go on, it's meant to be used!

It shows both lads off very nicely, thanks!
They are just beautiful. :-)
