Oh, he is so gorgeous! I saw a photographic exhibition at The South Bank many years ago which included photos of Gary Cooper in his leisure time, i.e. not from any film, and I was struck by how elegant and handsome he was. High Noon is a favourite of mine. Cheers for this.

I was struck by how elegant and handsome he was. I think so too. Myself I prefer his earlier movies like Mr. Deeds. He was a real beauty then with his long lashes and this touch of vulnerability. :-)

That doesn't fit into the picture we have of him! And I never really did like that public picture.

But this Photograph shows a new Gary Cooper for me. A man I would like to know more about...

I mostly like his earlier movies, Mr. Deeds goes to town or such. There he always looked beautiful, elegant and kind of vulnerable. :-)
