Mobile wallpaper

For my mobile phone I adjusted these two wallpapers (240x320px).

If these don't fit just let me know the exact pixel size you need.

You can change the wallpaper of your mobile phone...?
*scratches head*

No seriously, I phone with it. :-)
But if I look at them, I coud see if I find the user manual somewhere.

Schade! :-(
Beim nächsten Handy vielleicht.

I don't have a mobile 'phone but I bet these would look good if I did have one......

No problem, I'm sure, as long as you have your wallpaper an the computer screen. ;-)

I think I know how to do wallpapers (it happened once by accident) but I wouldn't know how to achieve the large blue strip of B & D at the top of your page here which I think looks fan-tas-ticccccc.....

The colours of the left (o.k. it is only one colour *g*) looks very good, but the lads are a bit hm...too rough for me in this. The right one is really very interesting, I like it - still a little bit unusual face of Bodie.
Jul. 23rd, 2010 07:58 pm (UTC)
too rough I understand. But it's nice you like the colour. Yellow is usually a bit bold for most people. Anyway it looks great on my mobile. This was a spur of the moment thing and I did the two I had in the office. But I will do more, given time. If you have any preferencies, just let me know! ;-)
PS The Bodie one is from the episode Takeaway, where he looks a bit rough and unusal (younger?) most of the time.

Doyle's expression makes me think he's thinking something the same as Robert De Niro's character in Taxi Driver did - you looking' at me? - and I think it's the way his character could easily look: tough, gritty and street-wise.
Jul. 23rd, 2010 08:58 pm (UTC)
Yes, and frankly spoken, I prefer Doyle tough, as tough as can be. Better still than Doyle I like Bodie here. He looks so beautiful, the shape of his head, his stern expression, all of him. :-)

PS Do you know from where De Niro's "You're talkin to me" comes?
It's kind of harsh. I wouldn't see it this way, more like a compliment for the Boss that De Niro took the line for his film.

Do I know where it came from? Yes, absolutely! I remember coming out of the cinema feeling very violent and wanting to kill someone - anyone - who might get in my way. I was INVINCIBLE! So do violent films influence young people? Yes! You bet. I love de niro and I loved him in Midnight Run when he steals the cop's ID badge and then spins around and shows it to the camera, almost parodying himself. And thanks for the link to that poster which I loved, too, it reminds me of your artwork and is a good poster.

I love a tough Doyle, too, and I agree with everything you say about Bodie - a profile in beauty........

Midnight Run is terrific. De Niro at its best. I never did understand how his wife could ever leave him in the film.
I hope you enjoyed it yesterday. ;-)

Well, how about that for a coincidence? I've just switched on ITV and Midnight Run is on....

I like yellow very much - not the lemon yellow but the warmer kind. I even had yellow pumps in the 80s - o.k. some people looked at me with a somehow weird expression *g*.

I've yellowish shoes now, okay, they call it "mango". Look here:

They look more orange as I've enhanced the photo a bit. The picture was made with a mobile phone, btw.
